Feline Astrovirus (FAstV) is a contagious virus causing diarrhea, vomiting, and lethargy, particularly in kittens. There is no specific cure, so treatment focuses on supportive care: rehydration (IV or subcutaneous fluids), electrolytes, and a bland, easily digestible diet. Management involves strict hygiene, isolating infected cats, and using virucidal disinfectants.

HOW CAN I TEST MY CAT FOR PARVO, CORONAVIRUS AT ONCE:

Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25℃ before running the assay.

Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.

Using the capillary dropper to place 10μL of the prepared specimen into the sample hole "S" of the test device. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 90μL) of the assay buffer into the sample hole immediately.

Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.

The C band should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result.
