Oak white Allergy Test is a rapid test for the qualitative determination of white Oak specific Immunoglobulin E (sIgE) in human serum, plasma or whole blood.
The test, in conjunction with other clinical observations, is intended to identify the patient whose allergic symptoms may be mediated by white Oak-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) Type I hypersensitivity.
Oak white Allergy Test will only indicate the presence of white oak sIgE in the specimen and should not be used as the sole criteria for the diagnosis of Allergy.
Introduction
Oak sends oak pollen into the air in Spring. normally pollinate in March, April and May, with more pollen appearing in the early morning hours. These allergens are airborne and when inhaled, cause allergic reactions in sensitive people.
The most frequent allergy symptoms caused by white oak are: Rhinitis, Airway Constriction, Fatigue and Sinus Problems. In some cases, white oak can cause asthma episodes and even chronic asthma.
